Short Term Rental Property

Short term rental property (STR) often called Airbnb, VRBO or Vacation Rentals generally have the same meaning.  Properties that are rented on a 30 day or less basis fall into the above description.  Municipalities with ordinances that regulate rental properties distinguish between short term and long term.  Long term rentals are usually not regulated by local government.  Rentals of less than 30 days are often subject to zoning and other regulations.

Our course is approximately 10 hours in duration.  After you enroll, you can go at your own pace, it is entirely webbased.  This is an audiovisual experience.  We use slides and other media to expose you to various aspects of investing in short term rental properties.  The purpose of the course is to educate you to the point where you should feel comfortable acquiring your first vacation rental property.

We recommend that our students take both full courses.  The core course on Residential Real Estate Investment covers the business aspects of investment.  The information contained in this course has a focus on long term rental but the elements apply to any residential rental property investment.
